internet is a place of expression for most individuals. A
place for one to bellow out their passions and individuality,
or simply tell of a favorite hobby or two. Computer
nerds/geeks use web space to show the world that they too have
something to contribute, which makes the internet a vast web
of nothingness. A person could travel the net for hours,
bouncing around from pages dedicated to a family pet, to some
guy showing the world pictures of his new "catch" and saying
"I love you" to her proving his ability to publicly pronounce
his feeling toward her when in all actuality a grand total of
three people will hit his page per month. As well, there
are an endless number of pages that are nothing but an artsy
show of what the webmasters new graphics program can do,
several dedicated to the showing off of horrible poetry and
wonderfully disgusting stories of extramarital sex, and
websites where daring teens can have an open diary and display
their innermost secrets to the world, under the false
pretences that it is completely anonymous. The internet is a
technologically advanced garbage can full of desperate
attempts for conforming liberals to prove their remaining drop
of individuality to a world that could not care less.
